DC Super Heroes: The Watchtower is a Plug & Play game that seems to have a similar theme to the more well-know Skylanders or Disney Infinity games in that they involve attaching different character figures to a base that communicates with the game. These figures are smaller and lighter than most of the ones from those other games though, and reminded me a little of Heroclix figures (although they are quite a bit larger than those ones).
Let's open up the box!

The back of the package. |
The Green Lantern. Which Green Lantern, you might ask, but I have no idea - the packaging doesn't specify (although maybe the game itself does?). |
Green Lantern: Rear view. |
Cyborg: front view. |

Compared to Heroclix Captain Britain. In terms of style and material, these figures are very similar to Heroclix figures. They're quite a bit larger though, as you can see here. |
Compared to Eaglemoss Captain Britain. The figures are only slightly smaller than Eaglemoss figurines, although they're significantly lighter weigh. |
A parting glance. |
Those figures look great. Not bad for discounted figures. Did you ever watch the Green Lantern movie?
ReplyDeleteI actually haven't seen it - I've heard terrible reviews, but sometimes that just makes them fun in a different way so I should probably still check it out some time! ;) Did you watch it? What did you think?
DeleteWhat a great deal! They look like they would be pretty cool to display. Green Lantern has a perfect physique! ;)
ReplyDeleteHeh, he does, doesn't he? ;)
DeleteAnd yeah, as soon as I saw the price I knew these guys were coming home with me!
