Retro Week: Random Toys of the 80s

I just got back from a weekend in Toronto, so it's time for another retro week post!
Does anyone remember what these toys were called?
They have articulated arms that move up and down
when a button on their base is pressed.

Thanks to an anonymous commenter we have an answer: He's a Hub-Bub!

This doll belonged to my sister. I believe she's a
My Little Pony accessory called Megan. ETA: Apparnetly
she's actually Molly - Megan was a larger doll. Thanks
to Treesa for the tip!
.
A plush ET.
Because no retro week post would be the same
without an ET of some sort!

  1. No idea on that first figure. It looks like something out of a children's story book.

    1. It does, doesn't it? I remember that they came on bases (and some with buildings), and that there were a variety of animals, but for the life of me I can't think what they were actually called...

    2. They aren't Richard Scarry animals, are they? They don't exactly look like his illustrations, but they keep giving me that vibe.

  2. The doll in the pink dress is from the My Little Pony line, but it's Molly not Megan. Molly was Megan's little sister in the My Little Pony universe.

  4. Nice founds, recognized the doll from my sister's daughter's (when she was a child) collection. The other two I do not know about!

    1. It's funny how some toys fade into obscurity, isn't it?

  5. I don't recognise either of the first two little figures but of course know ET, he looks like he's been well cuddled in his time :) I wonder if he ever "phoned home"!!!

    1. Heh, his elbows have little creases in them, so I'm betting he was made to phone home a few times! ;)

  6. The fox is cute. How many blue-eyed foxes do you see? Not many, me ;-)
