Retro Week: Happy Valentine's Day from Tenderheart Bear

Since I've done the traditional collage of action figure couples and doll couples in years past, I thought that this year I would mix it up by sharing a 1980's Care Bear (in both his plush and figure forms) who is covered in hearts!

If you celebrate Valentine's Day, I hope it's a good one. And if you don't, I hope you're having a great week! :)

  1. I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, TBH. I prefer to celebrate "Book Day" which is celebrated in Spain 23rd April.
Hope you have a great weekend too.

    1. Thank you!

I'm an avid reader, so that's my prefered event too! We actually have Book Day on that day in April in Canada as well. :)

    2. I just learned that, a while back, that date was extended to several countries to promote reading. Here aswell, when you buy a book, they give you a red rose as a gift. I usually take advantage of the discounts book stores offer, as books in Spain are very expensive compared to other countries.

  6. Oh doesn't this bring back fond memories of my childhood. I loved carebears. I saw recently in our toy stores they have scented ones out. It's so great these are still around today.

  7. Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day. We do not really celebrate it, but sometimes we eat something good together, as a family.
I remember Care Bears. Had no softies or figurines, but other stuff though. Stationary, pens and such!

    1. I think I may have had a Care Bears pencil box at one point too. I wonder what happened to that! :)

  8. I loved the Care Bears when I was a child!! I didn't know their English name until a couple weeks ago, honestly, but I read your whole post with a huge smile on my face.

I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

  9. The little Kenner figures are something I'm actively tracking down lately. They're just so charming.
